Universal Polishing Disk
This inexpensive little guy is made from Stainless Steel and will do ST, SC, and FC style
connectors from most any manufacturer. You never know when you are going to have to
touch up a connector in the field. Trying to hold the connector perpendicular when
polishing is just not going to cut it - so to speak.

LC Stainless Steel Polishing Disk
Doctor Fiber's LC/MU Polishing Disk is used to polish and maintain LC or MU style fiber
optics connectors from most fiber manufacturers.
$56.25
SC/APC Stainless Steel Polishing Disk
This SC/APC 8 Degree Polishing Disk is used to polish and maintain SC style APC
fiber optics connectors from most fiber manufacturers. However, I recommend fixing
the problem with a fusion spliced pigtail.
$93.75
FC/APC Stainless Steel Polishing Disk
This FC/APC 8 Degree Polishing Disk is used to polish and maintain FC style APC fiber
optics connectors from most fiber manufacturers. Same recommendation as above. I
recommend repairing the problem with a fusion spliced pigtail.

Black Radius Polish Pad
If you want to have a good polish and maintain the radius on the pre-polished
ferrules, this pad works great. It's easy to hold in your hand and it does not go
"CRASH" when it falls on the floor in the telecommunications closet. Not a good
thing when the customer or your boss is watching.

12 Micron Aluminum Oxide Polishing Film - Yellow (6" Sheets - 25 Per Pack)
Aluminum Oxide Polishing Films are easy to use and inexpensive. Be sure to keep your
polishing environment clean and remove all "stones and boulders" from your polishing
surface during your polishing procedures. BDI DataLynk uses use .3 micron, .03 micron
for finish polishing and 12 micron for "air" polishing.

0.3 Micron Aluminum Oxide Oxide Polishing Film - White (5" Disks - 25 Per Pack)
"If you want to have a good polish on your connectors, you must
have good polishing film AND a good polishing process. If your
process is shoddy, guess what - your result will be shoddy. If you
want "0.0dB - 0.3dB" across 2 connectors, the 3-step process will
get you there. Any other polishing process usually will not.
Everybody wants to eliminate this step or that step to save time.
Makes me want to scream. DON'T DO IT!"
