With almost 20 years in the technology industry, Steven has worked on various fiber projects including working as an onsite project manager for Lowe’s fiber to the desktop project. In addition, he was involved with the Arkansas Department of Education as it expanded the fiber optic network for hundreds of school campuses throughout Arkansas. During the same time, Steven managed a network engineering firm established by his father in 1986.
Steven began his career in technology in 1994 where he served in the United States Air Force/Air Nation Guard in communications. While serving in the USAF/ANG, he continued his career as a help-desk technician for the United States Postal Service in the state of Arkansas. Immediately following, he went on to serve as Network Administrator at Arkansas School for Mathematics, Science & Arts.
In January 2004 Steven began working alongside his father as Senior Network Engineer helping to expand the State of Arkansas LAN & WAN connectivity. Steven went on to serve as an adjunct professor at the College of the Ouachitas before joining BDI Datalynk in December of 2015.
Over the years Steven has partnered with vendors such as Verizon, SBC, and AT&T on various FTTP projects working as a field support engineer.
Steven is an avid outdoorsman and currently resides in Social Hill, Arkansas with his family.
