About Southern Regional Technical College- Tifton
Southern Regional Technical College is a unit of the Technical College System of Georgia, formed in 2015 through the consolidation of Southwest Georgia Technical College and Moultrie Technical College. Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, SRTC offers more than 150 degree, diploma, and certificate programs across an eleven-county Southwest Georgia service region.
BDI delivers FOA fiber optic certification classes at Southern Regional Technical College through the college’s continuing education program. SRTC handles enrollment and facilities while BDI provides the instructors, curriculum, and training equipment.
How Registration Works
Register through Southern Regional Technical College’s continuing education program, which the college runs through its Economic Development division. Continuing education uses an online registration portal where you reserve your seat in advance. You can register through the SRTC continuing education portal here.
Getting Here
Classes are held at the SRTC Tifton campus in south-central Georgia. Tifton sits on Interstate 75 at Exit 62, at the junction of US-82 and US-319, making the campus an easy drive for students across the region. Out-of-town students will find a cluster of chain hotels at the I-75 and US-82 interchange a short drive from campus, including Hampton Inn & Suites, Country Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn Express, and Microtel Inn & Suites.
