About Spoon River College Outreach Center
Spoon River College is a public community college based in Canton, Illinois, serving Fulton County and parts of McDonough, Schuyler, Mason, and Knox counties across West Central Illinois. Founded in 1959 and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, the college operates a second location in Macomb along with learning centers in Havana and Rushville. Its Office of Community Outreach runs non-credit and career training classes out of the Macomb Outreach Center.
BDI DataLynk delivers the FiberOptiX Bootcamp at the Macomb Outreach Center through Spoon River College’s Community Outreach program. The bootcamp earns three FOA certifications in one week, CFOT, CFOS/T, and CFOS/S, with hands-on training on the same fiber tools technicians use in the field. BDI provides the instructor, curriculum, and equipment, and the college handles enrollment and facilities.
How Registration Works
