About BDI Datalynk Atlanta

Atlanta’s Fiber Hub

Metro Atlanta is one of the most competitive fiber markets in the Southeast. Google Fiber, AT&T, and Comcast are all actively building here, and Georgia’s $1.3 billion in federal BEAD funding will drive fiber construction statewide through 2029. BDI delivers classes at professional training facilities across the country, and Kennesaw puts students right in the middle of where the work is. As an FOA-Approved School with over 25 years of experience, BDI has trained fiber optic technicians here since the Atlanta market first started expanding.

Getting Here

The training facility is just off I-75 at Exit 271, less than a mile from the interstate ramp. It is one of the most accessible points in metro Atlanta, sitting right where I-75 and I-575 split. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is 36 miles south, a straight shot down I-75. Several hotels are within walking distance on Busbee Drive, including the Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn, and Sonesta ES Suites (extended-stay with full kitchens). Budget-friendly options like Best Western are also steps away.

While You’re Here

Kennesaw has everything you need for a week-long training stay. Restaurants range from quick options like Chick-fil-A and Tropical Smoothie to sit-down spots along the Barrett Parkway corridor. Town Center at Cobb mall is about a mile and a half away, and grocery stores, pharmacies, and gas stations are all close by. After class, Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park offers 18 miles of hiking trails, or you can unwind at Lucky Strike with bowling and games just down the road.
