Getting Here

The Miami metro is easy to reach by road and by air. Interstate 95 runs north-south through the metro with tolled Express Lanes connecting Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, and Miami. Florida’s Turnpike mainline meets I-95 at the Golden Glades Interchange in Miami Gardens, and its Homestead Extension runs south toward Florida City. State Road 836, the Dolphin Expressway, links Florida’s Turnpike in the west to I-95 in the east. For students flying in, Miami International Airport connects to I-95 via State Road 112, the Airport Expressway, a controlled-access toll road that makes the metro simple to reach from out of the area.
