That activity drives steady demand for the network and data infrastructure that fiber technicians build and maintain. With an active fiber buildout underway across the metro, Savannah is a strong place to earn FOA certification close to where the work is.

BDI DataLynk runs its FiberOptiX Bootcamp in the Savannah area, bringing the instructor, curriculum, and all training equipment to a professional training facility in the metro it serves. That model lets students get hands-on FOA fiber optic certification training without traveling far from home.

How Registration Works

BDI brings the FiberOptiX Bootcamp to the Savannah area. Ask about upcoming Savannah-area dates or onsite training, and register directly through BDI DataLynk. BDI provides the instructor, curriculum, and all training equipment, and confirms the facility location with registered students ahead of class.

Getting Here

Savannah sits at the junction of Interstate 95, the main Atlantic-coast route, and Interstate 16, which runs east-west to Macon and Atlanta and ends near downtown. The two interstates meet at a rebuilt interchange just west of Pooler Parkway, making the metro easy to reach by car from the coast and inland Georgia alike. For out-of-town students, Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) is about eight miles northwest of downtown with direct I-95 access at Exit 104, close to the hotel and training corridors near Pooler.
