About SUNY Broome Community College
SUNY Broome Community College is a State University of New York community college in Binghamton, serving close to 9,000 students in the Southern Tier region. Accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, SUNY Broome offers credit programs alongside an active Workforce and Community Partnerships division focused on the region’s economic development.
BDI DataLynk delivers the FiberOptiX Bootcamp at SUNY Broome through the college’s Workforce Development program. The bootcamp earns three FOA certifications in one week, the Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) plus CFOS/T in testing and CFOS/S in splicing, with hands-on training on the same equipment used in the field. BDI provides the instructor, curriculum, and training equipment, and the college handles enrollment and facilities.
