About BDI Kingsland
Southeast Georgia’s Fiber Corridor
Kingsland sits in Camden County on Georgia’s southeast coast, just three miles from the Florida border along I-95. The area is experiencing significant fiber infrastructure investment. Comcast activated a $7 million fiber network here in early 2025, TDS Fiber is building out an all-fiber network, and Georgia is deploying $1.3 billion in federal BEAD broadband funding statewide. Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, the largest employer in the county with approximately 9,000 personnel, drives steady demand for communications infrastructure and produces hundreds of technically trained veterans entering the civilian workforce each year.
Why BDI Trains in Kingsland
BDI delivers classes at professional training facilities across the country, and Kingsland serves the southeast Georgia coastal market and northeast Florida. With fiber buildouts underway from multiple providers and a growing need for certified technicians, this location puts hands-on training where the work is. As an FOA-Approved School, BDI has been training fiber optic professionals for over 25 years. The FiberOptiX Bootcamp earns three certifications in one week: CFOT, CFOS/T, and CFOS/S.
