Kerry Hammer

Kerry Hammer has worked in technical fields for more than 30 years. After a 23-year career with CVS Caremark, Kerry launched a technology firm, Hammer Technical Services, an IT Managed Service Provider out of Boerne, TX, and currently serves as CEO. He holds multiple project management certifications, including ITIL, Agile Scrum Master, and PMP. As a long-time instructor and teacher, Kerry has designed and taught several training courses in areas such as basic computer skills, project management methodologies, and human relationships.

One of Kerry’s primary interests is the field of communications technology. As an avid follower of developments in fiber optics processes and products, he is passionate about sharing his knowledge. Specializing in simplifying complex concepts, he is recognized as an instructor who transmits knowledge with effective clarity. Along with his fellow BDI Datalynk instructors, Kerry is deeply committed to providing a superior training product to our students. Thus, he is continually researching and presenting information about recent fiber optic progress and discoveries to his classes.

Kerry is currently active in the field of fiber optics, designing and installing systems across the United States. He has provided fiber optic related services to companies such as Pepsi, HCA, Itellis, Single Digits, and many others
